For a place to stop outside the house, the city centre usually needs a permit from the responsible cantonal office. Allow one to two weeks, or leave it to the moving company. Demand bunches at the end of the month and especially at the ends of the quarters, on which many tenancies run. During big conferences and fairs the roads are full as well. A weekday in the middle of the month is the most relaxed and often the cheapest choice.
